Welcome to our first Online Newsletter. Over the coming months I will update you on what's happening at Residence Fine Furniture and bring you news and views on matters relating to furniture, fabrics and decorative accessories. Our first piece of important news, in case you haven't already heard, is that we have recently relocated to a new, larger showroom at Unit 14, 888 Bourke Street in Waterloo. Situated 10 minutes drive south of Sydney Harbour and only a few hundred metres off of Southern Cross Drive, the new location is more convenient for our local and out of town clients alike. As previously mentioned our new phone number is 02 8307 0522 whilst our email and website addresses remain unchanged.
The new showroom is on two levels and allows the display of an increased selection of furniture, fabrics, and decorative accessories. Entry is off O' Dea Avenue and you can park immediately in front of the showroom. I look forward to welcoming you to our new premises in the near future.
We have recently introduced a new range of high quality home theatre furniture in classic and contemporary styles.
All units have been carefully designed and made to accommodate the latest media and multi-media equipment and you can select the configuration (including your desired combination of drawers and open shelves), size and style that best suit you. We are also now offering a custom made service that enables you to have units, and other items of furniture, made to fit your own specific requirements.
You can also choose from a range of fine cabinet woods including rosewood, American mahogany and teak with different colour options to complement existing furniture and décor.
As is the case with all of our furniture every piece is hand crafted using traditional cabinet making skills. Features include hand made joints and high quality European door and drawer hardware, including concealed heavy-duty drawer runners with soft close.
I have recently increased the range of top quality upholstery fabrics that our clients can choose from to include the Ralph Lauren, Mokum, Warwick and Designer's Guild ranges. We also continue to offer an extensive selection of leathers, hand made Thai silks and unique horsecloth whilst clients are also welcome to supply their own fabrics.
I continue to be encouraged by the number of people who, when visiting Residence for the first time, comment that they "have at last found a store that stocks furniture of the quality and style that they have spent so long searching for."
